visa approval
Can anybody help me please...
Me, my mom and my daughter came to qatar under visit visa sponsored by my father. My father is processing our residence permit, this morning the labor said that only my mother can have a RP and for me and my daughter can stay until jul30 only for the reason that is our 3rd month here in Qatar.
My surname is the same as my father but my daughter surname is different.( same with her father last name) for the reason I am single mom. We are small family only which is my mom, my dad, me and my daughter. and we wished to stay here all together.
Can anybody please help us or at least tell us what we need to do so that me and my daughter can also have RP and dont need to lieave Qatar.
Oh... In your case you are luckier than me because you are able to visit Doha under the sponsorship of your father even for a while... I am also interested in the answers to your questions.... I wish us good luck!
By the way my case is:
"I am asian and I have a baby out of wedlock. My baby is turning 1 year old next month.
I want to work in Doha again on August 2011 and I want to bring and sponsor her. We also plan to go to Doha under visit visa.
Is it possible for me to bring her with me to Doha and sponsor her (residence visa)?
Her surname in her passport is not my surname. It is the surname of her father. However, her middle name is my surname and I have a valid birth certificate stating that I am the mother. In her birth certificate, it is also stated the name of her father but we are not yet married. We planned to get married very soon when he already arrange his documents. For now, it is still impossible for us to get married. It will take years to arrange his documents.
If you know anything in this matter, please help me. I am so desperate now."
By the way, what if when I didn't tell them that I am an unwed mom and then they ask for a marriage certificate or divorce paper? :(
Getting a marriage certificate will be hard for us because my fiance is still having a struggle in arranging his documents. :(
