Needs a Dog Trainer

I am giving up on my dogs

I have a male maltese whose with me for the last 4 years and recently adopted 1 havanese female dog (1year old).

The havanese starts to chew on all things she sees, climbs up the bed and reaches my computer accessories and table top lamps and ipod docks.

Before it's too late I want to enroll them or send them to a dog trainer.

dont worry...they are playfull... i do have spitz...she used to do it all when she was about one...young dogs paly naughty mainly for 3 reasons:1. if they are bored, have nothing to do; 2. they try to draw your attention, 3. they are sufering from teething problem ...what i did when she was about 1 and used to play naughty, i used to say no with a deep-grave voice, and used to stare at her with a serious look. ... and other members of my family used to stare at her that way...she felt shy and did not do it.. i used to repeat it when she she did her all sorts of monkey business....but thank God, she is very friendly with our guests..

it will take time, after all dog is not as intelligent as human being is...dont give up and dont beat her... sometimes when she was more stubborn, we stopped talking and playing with her.... she understood that no one liked her perticular behaviour...and wanted to join us...:D

thus you can train your puppy....or else you can visit www.dohavets.com ...they may help you out..

Your havanese is a playful breed thus her behaviour. A trainer would help for a start, but you would still need to practice the discipline at home, it's just like with kids you know :) school helps only if you repeat the same things at home. It's not a big deal to teach them some basic rules, at least not compared to my stubborn dobermann i used to train! Let me know if you want some tips and i can gladly share with you what i've learned in the dog training course.
