Bringing in iMac or buying a new one

I have a 20" iMac that I would like to bring with me from the US to Qatar. I am flying on a direct flight on Qatar Airways. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you bring it in--carry on or in your luggage?

If I decide not to bring it, I would want to buy a new one there. How much can I expect to pay for the smallest screen, lowest-model iMac and where could I buy it?

Put it in your laugage between ur cloths.

All apple products here cost atleast 20% more than the US (original) price. If u don't mind that extra bit.. Then go for it..
