Mesaieed - facilities and transport
Hello everyone,
My first post so I hope this is in the right place. I am in final neogtiations discussing a role based at the new port development, which I believe is near to Mesaieed. I may be working split shifts, at least some of the time, but my accomodation is in Doha. I had a few questions that I was hoping you might be able to help with:-
How long does it take to drive this journey? I realise that I haven;t given any information on where in Doha I might be, but some rough figures would be really useful.
Are there any sports clubs, gyms etc in or near to Mesaieed? Preferably somewhere I could train yoga, martial arts or boxing? But it would be great to know about any leisure facilities in the area.
Many thanks for your time, any help greatfully received. I look forward to speaking to you all more in the near future.

Wow! Amazing quick reponse thanks so much. I'll check out the clubs mentioned and maybe get back to you guys if I have any specific questions if that's ok.
Its depend upon which area you will live in Doha.I think wakra will be good area to live and will need max.15 to 20 minutes
30 to 40 Minutes from Mesaieed to Doha .. for sports club or gym , you need to check in WARKA area or airport road , which are closest are to mesaieed .
So I have lived in Doha for the past 19 years and now I study in the US. Living is Mesaieed is very relaxing, but at the same time very boring. The journey time should be around 30 minutes with no traffic. There is a park but it is usually hot so people do not use it. Otherwise, there are clubs which you join as a member. They rank in this way - Al Banush, Al Dana, Al Maha and then Al Shaheen. The beach is very close to this city, and the sealine resort! Nothing else really!
