Spots on X-Ray
My friend recently joined here in an oil company in Qatar. His peofession is Engineer.Bfore coming here, he had been working in Saudi Arbia and Bahrain for 2 years in each country. Before employment, company asked him to submit medical reports from residing country. He submitted reports from Saudia local lab and was fit so was offered employment. When he arrived in Qatar, the first day company did his medical test in Doha from local private center and he was found ok. Then company applied for his RP and during his medical test they asked to repat X-Ray. After repated X-Ray. They found some reticular opacities on left arm. Then he was asked for PPD. His PPD was also found negative. But they again reffered him to Rumaila Hospital for further investigation. He is worried about that he left his previous job on behalf of his new job. He told me that he had some chest infection 20 years before and may be those spots reflected on X-Ray.He got private tests here AFB spotum and ESR just 2 days before. AFB is also negative and ESR is 5 that is too much accurate. Can ay body explain What tests be carried out in CD centre and what will happen next to his RP?
What happened in Medical comm....did they clear the medical??
What happened in Medical comm....did they clear the medical??
After QFT and appointment with doctor, they gave a letter mentioning that He should contact Medical Commission Room No. 118 ( after 10 days) because they have completed medical investigation. They did not tell anything. But verbally was told that case is ok? Any body can tell what will happen next. Medical commission clear for RP? I heard that they give letter to the persons only who have cleared their medical from Rumaila.
Now the situation is that his tests Sputum ( 2 days) and blood tests ESR and LFT, Renal and other general check up were done in Rumaila Hospital. Then dcotor advised for QFT and boold eas taken for this TB test. and result will be given on 15 Sep. Any body can tell what is this test any why they asked. Before PPD was negative by medical commission. I think Sputum and ESR / other tests are also ok. What will be the next?
don't worry my nephew got the same problem before and he was reffered to rumailah hospital and do some test then he was given some medicine to be taken and asked to go back for some period of time, after he completed the prescribed treatment he was given a clearance and got his RP. Good luck
For more accurate results related to chest infection, better go for High Resolution Computed tomography. (HRCT). capable of performing this study those having multislice ST Scanner and get the report from the consultant RadiologistHope it helps
