How to settle personal loan in the bank for an expat who wants to return in doha?
Can anyone help me pls...my friend came here last 2007 and had a personal loan in the bank but unfortunately she needed to go back home for good beacause of important reason but the loan was unsettled. Now, she wanted to come here again and willing to continue the unsettled loan.
Could it be possible to coordinate in the bank to settle legal matters? Is it possible that she can be put in jail here beacuse of that? (hope not)

If there is a case against her from the Bank for defaulting loan payments then she will not get approval for a new visa.
Well I do not think any problem for her to come back to Doha, but once she arrives in Doha, she will get travel ban until and unless she produces salary endorsement letter from her new employer. So, she has to think twice before she steps into Doha due to this risk. Bankers might charge compound interest plus default charges for these 4 years period and they recover this amount at tag end.My friendly advice is you being local, go to her bank and check all the possibilities for rescheduling of her loan, so that you can convey through mail or phone.

in fact there is no risk to enter the country but she cannot move anymore without paying.
she has to check with them before coming here. at least she has to get a written paper about their agreement.
Only legal authorities or legal counsels can give you the right answer for your question. The fact that she defaulted the payment of her obligations is punishable by Qatar laws and she is blacklisted as well. You can ask a lawyer at the embassy or any law office regarding the matter.
