Has anyone heard of sealine village in qatar.
Is it a nice place to go with family.
I really want to visit it during eid vacation, relax near the sea shore....
Please give me info about its location, entry fees etc.
Or suggest the next best beach.
Khanan if all places will be busy during the Eid Holidays don't you think its a good idea to go this Friday..TO AVOID THE RUSH!
can we swim in Dhakira beach ....?
and yes during eid all the places will be crowded..
Khanan - Is it another place? fuwairit or fuwarait? lol. I'm certain it will be crowded..and we're going with who? :p
are we not going to Fuwarait ? ;)
I'm confused now where to go during the eid..:)
are side by side and about 45 minutes drive from LAndmark Mall towards North (going to Al Ruwais).
for swimming as the water is very shallow. It's good for kite flying or paragliding activities.
70km north of Doha..:0)
btw ..where is furwairit beach....??
I think I'll gonna go to zekreet.... sounds and looks like a secret haven :))
@ timebandit thanks for the nice pics
Sorry no MBK. I havn't been to those two yet.
TB any pictures of Zubarah and Al Ruwais?
Khannan - I'll take a note for that.. :)
in Eid Break :)
I'm going to Furwairit..:)
amazing stare ! :)
TB - enough, enough with the pictures..Ok,I'm going there with u.lol.
if you want to enjoy sand, sun and sea...
guys is there a better option in qatar if Sealine resort is so bad? looks to me i have to spend ied vacation on corniche..:)
Rattling a/c's in run-down cottages, bad upkeeping of pool PH levels, lurkers everywhere, poluted seawater, rubbish for the price! I am with Chairboy on this one - it sucks!
that had a problem there. I've been there thrice and all are good experiences.
chairboy thanks for your concern and advise...this place seems to be hell now after your comment....:)
Just a word of warning if you are going down to Sealine - the sea of the beach is by popular consensus polluted from the nearby Petrochemical plants as you would expect and of course the ever present stinging jelly fish are a constant reminder that swimming in the sea needs to be thought through. The gardens are lovely and the security guys of which there are many try as best they can to avert their gaze from wives and daughters. Friends of mine who have used the pool have complained of watering eyes and skin irritation post using the pool - its probably just an issue with the chemicals they use in the pool but hey, what you gonna do .........................hey have fun for your 150 per person entry, you cant go wrong at those prices.
I think Sea line is one of the suitable places in Qatar. Entry free, can swim, feel relax at sea beach with fress cold wind. Near Sea line there is a resort with Entry fee QR 50 in weekdays and 150 in weekend. In side resort there is also swimming pool.
thanks @ hajmola, irap, ssbnss, shihabuddin and others.... i will try it this time.
chairboy why are you so upset?
Be that as it may, some of the GENUINE reports (ie not those written by staff members) on Sealine on the Trip Advisor site are shocking. Its old hat and has been discussed to death on here - expensive and flatters to deceive!!
a nice way to promote this resort.
Why dont you just do what everyone else has done on your behalf and google it you lazy sod!!!!

Sealine Beach Resort is located in Mesaiieed..35 minutes away from Doha probably. It's a nice beach anyway, I have been there before.Inside there are private cottages / rooms for longer stay.Pool for kids and adultDefinitely the beach...white sand...nice..horseback riding..restaurants availablegood service crews..Last eid the entrance fee was QR 150/person..I am not sure how much this time. You will enjoy there...try it!!!
Sealine itself is a beach resort. Do we have a Village as well?
