Has anyone heard of sealine village in qatar.
Is it a nice place to go with family.

I really want to visit it during eid vacation, relax near the sea shore....

Please give me info about its location, entry fees etc.
Or suggest the next best beach.

for swimming as the water is very shallow.  It's good for kite flying or paragliding activities.

Rattling a/c's in run-down cottages, bad upkeeping of pool PH levels, lurkers everywhere, poluted seawater, rubbish for the price! I am with Chairboy on this one - it sucks!

Just a word of warning if you are going down to Sealine - the sea of the beach is by popular consensus polluted from the nearby Petrochemical plants as you would expect and of course the ever present stinging jelly fish are a constant reminder that swimming in the sea needs to be thought through. The gardens are lovely and the security guys of which there are many try as best they can to avert their gaze from wives and daughters. Friends of mine who have used the pool have complained of watering eyes and skin irritation post using the pool - its probably just an issue with the chemicals they use in the pool but hey, what you gonna do .........................hey have fun for your 150 per person entry, you cant go wrong at those prices.

I think Sea line is one of the suitable places in Qatar. Entry free, can swim, feel relax at sea beach with fress cold wind. Near Sea line there is a resort with Entry fee QR 50 in weekdays and 150 in weekend. In side resort there is also swimming pool.

Be that as it may, some of the GENUINE reports (ie not those written by staff members) on Sealine on the Trip Advisor site are shocking. Its old hat and has been discussed to death on here - expensive and flatters to deceive!!
