| Several members of the Central Municipal Council (CMC) have objected to the high prices charged by restaurants for meat dishes made from Australian meat that is sold at the subsidised price of QR14 per kg. They say that the subsidy is given to support the public at large, according to a report in Arrayah. But the restaurants take “undue advantage” and sell this meat in the form of grilled meat and other dishes at prices ranging from QR100 to QR120 per kg. The cost of importing an Australian sheep is as much as QR858. But the Qatar Meat and Livestock Company (Mawashi) is selling it at the subsidised price of QR280. |
& why do people waste their time by opening their mouths to shut someone elses mouth for something they don't like from that mouth? I guess it's easier to just ignore.. Time is gold. Save it....:)
