Dear All,

I am currently working in Bank in Dubai, i ve got an offer from a Bank in Qatar.I have accepted the offer as well. I would like to know how many days will it take to get an employment visa from Qatar to resign from my existing employer. If any one had similar experience or information would be grateful if you can share please.

It takes generally 2-3 weeks. But at present it will take 3-5 weeks due to eid holidays. Dont resign before getting your visa. Also ask for required documents (Attested degree, Marriage certificate and child birth certificate if family coming, some company ask for police clearance certificates) for processing your resident permit once you arrived in Qatar.
