Shipment contents

Hi,
I am moving to Qatar shortly and shipping my house contents in a container. I like to make homemade wine and was going to put my Homebrew equipment (fermentation buckets etc) in the shipment. Will this cause a problem when the container arrives at Doha?

Many thanks

The equipment isn't illegal, brewing it is - you can be arrested and deported for doing so.  Best leave it at home.

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy that when you get here?  There's plenty of alcohol available in Qatar from the shop and at all the hotels etc.   I know lots of people who brew their own stuff here, but is it a risk you want to take?

Brewing your own wine in Qatar? Come on man, Qatar is an Islamic country. You can buy your wine supply only from QDS with a permit.
