no... a big no... its not so simple and not so easy to get NOC, if they were willing.. may be they give you.. but you can not take by force or by going to court.. and mostly they extend the contracts... they have no problem in that. if they need you, they will certainly extend the contract..or even if luck favors you, they can give NOC after two years, and you can find another job, but this possibility is 5-10% , rare cases, your company don't need you.. and they are good people, so don't want to ruin your career, then they can say, ok dear, find a job for your self and we will give you release.. but as i told you.. very rare cases..(my company told me that they will give me release after few months.. now they are silent. not saying even a single word about that. you can never trust these ppl, if they can't afford you they will give you release with in two months and if not willing.. you will spend 20 years, and still you will never get)any how wish you best of luck..may Allah show u the best way.

hello srishti

hey its not about shame on me or my certs..its all about INDIA. its been more than  8 months i still couldn't get day shift job, here in india u must posses atleast 5 years of Relevant exp then u can become team lead and work in day...else u have to work at night as Senior network Engineer ,the reason i left my prev job.( i have 1 yrs exp as system admin and 2 yrs exp as network Engineer).i'm tired of finding good job here.so thought of moving to gulf..

in what sense the aim is wrong? settle means i want to work here for next few years then if i find good job some where else in western countries.i will think about that..as of now no plans to marry for next 4-5 years.

at Ingenerio: i wil think about this again and then i wil sign the agreement .tell me if my contract ends after two years will i get NOC from company if i dont wanna continue..yes u are right it wil be around 5000QAR i will try another job after 2 yrs.by then i wil be having 2yrs of local exp and possibly i wil find some other company who pays me more..

at flori1212: yes thats what i'm thinking..coz even if i come from India with 5 yrs exp they put me on low salary coz nowadays they only want local exp(gulf)..thanks for the advice guys.will update when i get my agreement ..

shukran to all..reply plz..

@han..

i'm not planning to marry for next 5 years or so..and i said the reason for leaving india is (night shift) here i tried many MNC's they only want Network Engineer who can work at night(its like 3 days night shift and 2 days day)..

i've tried for job in many gulf countries and middle east .In KSA they are offering job to guys who come on Azaad Visa(coz of "nitaqat" programme by govt) if i spend 2.2 lac on Free visa(azaad) the package is around 4500 riyals for Engineer with 2-3 years exp.. i verified this from my uncle there..

and in doha, qatar i have one more  uncle(paternal) who works in Qatar military Base camp and possibly i wil be staying at his flat and he will take care of my food too..

can u just tell me how much does it cost for food..or can i ask the company my food and acc allowances coz 3300 is the basic.even if the company doesn't give me the allowance for food then how much i need to spend on my food ??

@rej2k7.i'ven't signed the agreement.i will first read the agreement and then i wil sign it..if i'm not ok with the agreement then i will reject this offer.

as a stepping stone for greater heights! Two years is a short period to gain GCC experience and know the ways here! You'll not regret it!

flor1212

and if you think you are ready for more challenges, then do apply again and you gain an experience here in GCC which will qualify you for higher position or salary in other GCC states. Follow your instinct!

after 6 months, how much they will increase??? 500 or max max 1000 riyal...still nothing... better to negotiate.. or stay in india.. india is a large country, with hunderds of oppertunities.. or try another country.. coming with this salary, after two years, most probably you will earn arround 4500-5000... and at that time you will hold 5 years experience.. mean supposed to be salary 8000-10000...think again...

Engineering in Computer Science.CCNAand MCSA certified. (cisco and microsoft ceritfied associate). are you crazy to accept 3300 QAR basic salary??? it's big shame on you and your certificates. moreover, your aim to settle in gulf is already wrong. you will regret in future. think 2 more times.

For IT, this is a worst package according to the standard of Qatar,

Accomodation will be bachellor (2 or 3 persons sharing.. please confirm), You can easily get more better salary in India for IT, moreover take all conditions in writing.

Dont relent in their words.

Search more info in this site, you will get more details.Good luck.

You will regret coming here on 3300 salary, at that salary you will never be able to get your family here. Aren't u planning on getting married in the near future. What food are they going to give? Thats canteen food or small allowance or food. Accom is bachelor accommodation.

Who is this consultant, a recruitment agent? Is it written in your contract that your salary will increase after probation.

Don't come under the assumption that you can jump jobs once you are here.it's not easy.look for other vacancies in middle east if this is the place you what to be in. .Qatar is expensive to live in.

The experience you can get in India, you won't get here, but it looks like you have made up your mind that you don't want to work in India at all, and that you only want to come here.

Satsriakal....

To my knowledge their is no night shifys in technology in doha... possibility : depends on nature of work / projects unless specified in contract. wat abt leaves , holidays etc check on that also.

As far as acc is concerned... i think u will get bachelor accomodation... on sharing basis... which has a bed / ac / cupboard etc....

I still insist that u negotiate salary as it is low

I think the 'Region Gulf' is not suitable for IT professionals as a main stream focus sector, you only serve as a support staff of a business and have to bear the secondary budget allocation of a business for this department. I don't know your level of desperation but the salary on offer is ridiculously low. A typical case of exploitation... It's like you are an iPhone seller and in need of money urgently for the next morning. A solitary customer drops in who doesn't care or know what iPhone is but wants a mobile phone and is ready with the cash enough to meet your next morning expenses. It is plain idiotic on part of your employer to be throwing more weight behind gulf experience rather than the technologies you have worked on. Just goes to show the companies orientation which of course is not IT but construction or some other business. Which means by taking up the offer you also run the risk of being underutilized and losing on the competencies you posses now. Moreover, does anyone need to be reminded not to go by what the consultant has to say. How one earth he can be so sure that your salary will be raised after 3 months? No one can decide for you whether you can wait for the customer who can pay for the iPhone.

satsriakal singh ji

my job offer is being processed by a consultant..and i cannot go to HR of the comapny directly, i can get  more details when i will be signing the contract(its 2yr contract renewable after 2 yrs). i've asked the consultant to give me a copy of offer letter , agreement  and after i sign the agreement consultant said he will give me a visa copy.

i've told u my reason for leaving india( i dont want to do night shift).how about qatar ,do IT companies put a fresher on night shift?

i'm very much single i'm just 25 yrs old and i dont have any plans to marry for next 4 yrs or so..my only aim is to settle in gulf, again i would say that my first priority is to get some gulf experience.

i've read in QL about NOC and BAN and i know its 2 yrs ban if i can't get NOC..

shukriya ji  for your info..

This is a low package for your qualifications.   Its not easy to switch jobs once you are here.   Try to negotiate for at least double of what is being offered to you.  Good luck!

IF you could see the VISa approved in the MOI site mentioned in your text , then it is Valid and no need to verify .

It is already in the system and you will not need to show anything in the Airport but the copy is needed for the bording at departure .

The salary seems to be very low , but I am not sure about your qualifications .

wish you good luck

even if all things are provided, the salary is not good. I would suggest to stay in india. India has big opportunities and multiple system integrators where you can get very experience in the early days of your job.
