sounds like 'ashes to ashes' :p :)well it depends actually. that's right sometimes it's hard to remain as a friend but sometimes you just can -if you don't see each other much (this is the key rule;) otherwise it's nearly impossible I think)  

Its true in many cases..if the relationship ends due to breach of committment or trust, from one or both sides, it was not love in the first place. Again, if it has to end due to some compulsion, like, someone going abroad for long, not to return in the near future or someone forcefully married to another person ( as it happens in some cultures ), the relationship may mutually be ended superficially. In such a case, if the relationship was truely based on love, its hard to put out the fire..it would flare up the day they are together again.

hahaha.. just found that quote in the web... i figured it is something interesting to talk to... hehehe... see.. it roused your curiosity... :) I do believe I can still be friends with my ex.. but not so soon after the break up though... it takes time to heal and move on..

How many shots of tequilla have you been drinking lately? :P LoL - just kidding :P You can still be friends with an ex as long as the break up is a mutual decision., and both are willing to move on.,If one cant be friends with an ex, i think because its either you still holding some grudges, you are still hurt, you still love him or you simply just cant let go. ;)

When a relationship ends it is possible to become friends especially when none of u fooled each other. There are certain relationships or companionships that are bound to end bec.of certain reasons but that doesn't mean that u can't be friends when it end. :)

I have 7 years relation but we ended not with each other.. It's been a year we don't communicate, but now we started to say hi.. I consider him as a friend...but no more love..we are civil now like I know him long time back, likewise him.

what's the problem?
