Hello there,

I am going to buy a Prado TXL. Can you guys advise me which one has better re-sale value, 2.7L 4 Cylinder or 4.0 V6.

I have no personal choice as I will drive within Doha and don't intend to go off road. What really I am looking for is a reliable family car which holds it value and has good re-sale.

Would appreciate your advise and commments.

Hi,if you are looking for re-sale value, it is recommended to get it from trade in department at Toyota company. at least you will not in position when you sell it losing lot of money when you compare original car value plus loan interest from any bank.Regarding 2.7 or 4.0 i have 4.0 which is good for its performance. you can not drive 2.7 if you tried 4.0

I recently bought 2.7 V4 which is not bad but I will suggest to go for V6 as that is more powerful if your budget permits or else V4 is not a bad choice.

Do not buy 2.7, buy 4.0

For that bulk body 4.0L will be a good option and has good resale value compared to 2.7L. If you are looking for 2.7L better buy Honda CRV with 2.4L.
