Contract ends, No NOC... What are my options?

Hello,

Sorry if this question has been asked so many times already... Still I cannot find a straight answer that applies to my situation. I appreciate any advice you may have to offer.

I am a Canadian whose current work contract ends in November. My company has a no-NOC policy, which means if I do not renew my contract, they will just send me home.

I would, however, like to remain in Qatar and go under a different sponsor. I understand the two-year ban applies if you leave the company early. However, my contract will end in November along with my RP. I will have completed my contract by then. Would I be able to leave the country and come back on a new visa?

In addition, my husband also lives here under a different sponsor/company. If by chance I cannot go through with my first option, would I be able to come back under my husband's sponsorship and proceed to work at the new job?

Any help at all will be much, much appreciated. Thanks most kindly.

tinks answer is pretty much correct. However, if you do get a family visit visa which will be renewable to 6 months max, you will not have a chance to get a job because this will still require you to provide an NOC to the new company/sponsor. Those wives/spouse that come here and are allowed to work are those that come under family visa, not visit.

Thanks. Wow this sucks. Anyway, sure I can re-enter under my husband's sponsorship, but woud I be permitted to work for another company?
