So they want expats to teach their kids perfect english then basically do one!

When it comes to paying them, they skank us!

Don't know if I should be laughing or crying.....

I'm sure equality will be on the agenda when people realise they are not the bees knees.  Maybe someone should give them the definition of discrimination.

Why would there be - this has nothing to do with expats. For QTel, QNB, QP, RasGas or QatarGas to implement any salary hikes for expats on the back of the initial announement would serve as a potential prescedent to other companies to follow suit and that way leads to economic madness in the form of hyper inflation. You simply cannot front load one side of the economic model in that way without seeing extreme conditions manifest themselves on the other side.

If you are an expat no matter whom you work for, I wouldnt go getting your hopes up too high!

Happy for them all, i am sure the rest of the big companies will do the same shortly..maybe they will increase the expatriates as well but sure not 60% and not now...
