Driving to Abu Dhabi with Financed Car
I'm planning to drive to Abu Dhabi and as my car is under finance I went to the finance company (Domasco) with a guarantor and the required cheque. They have issued me a no objection letter but suggested I may need to get it stamped by some police department in Mamoura. Can anyone confirm this?
I tried checking this with the traffic department at Old Airport - they said that as the Istimara lists me as the owner there is no futher documentation/steps required and I should just show the customs people at the border the letter from the finance company. Is this the experience of people who have taken financed cars out of the country recently? I'm just asking to be doubly sure because I'd hate to get all the way to the border only to be turned back.
There is another exit permit for the car you should get it from Traffic Department in Madinat Khalifa.
It will not take time and too much fees. It is easy to get it,just go there, they will help you.
My car is financed by my company, I just get a letter from my company and drive to Abu Dhabi...No issue.
I am not sure about your case
