Al Khor beach?

Is there a public beach in Al Khor? If so, has anyone been there recently? Is it ok? Photos by any chance?

Was thinking to go to Wakra, but we live in west bay and it's probably easier to get to Al Khor from here.

Also please help with directions!

Alkhor beach is public... u can enjoy .... no problem at all... i think tht is the only place for entertainment at alkhor.

Yes there is another beach before reaching Al Khor, i.e. Simaisima beach you can reach there by taking right turn just 10 kms before reaching Al Khor. Then go straight.... till you reach the beach...

Wakra is not a beach, its one of the worst beaches i have ever seen. Al Khor is nice and yes there is a public beach there where you can spend good couple of hours...For directions you can simply refer to google maps...Enjoy your trip
