Too much delay in getting work visa

Hi all,

i am currently in dubai, i am originally from India. i ve had an offer from a top bank in Qatar on Auguest, i ve signed the offer letter and send it back to them as well, Till now i havnt recieved the visa from the employer yet. Its been almost 2 months now. i have no idea will i get it or not. What could be the reason. Was it rejected. i have contacted HR twice but they also have no idea.. is it worth waiting or should i look for another job. if any of you guys had similar experience would be greatful if you can share please.

In Qatar things are bit slow...But keep looking for other options...
