Sadd win on a black day for Asian football
I'm happy Sadd won. But was this the way to do it?
SUWON: Asian football suffered one of its darkest days Wednesday as a showpiece regional semifinal erupted in violence and a major match-fixing scandal was blamed for a tragic apparent suicide.
In a blow to attempts to clean up continental football, the AFC Champions League semifinal between Suwon Bluewings and Qatar’s Al Sadd was temporarily halted as both teams traded punches in an ugly all-in brawl.

Yep, that was some sweet mess!
Thanx Man
Free entry at the stadium - if you turn up early enough you might get a game!!!
Hi I See The Match...
But I Want to Know That When Samsung (Korean) Club Comes in Qatar to play with Al-Sadd, So There is Any Ticket To Enter In The Stadium or Not? & How Much Ticket Fees & Where we Bought The Tickets ????????? Thanks
Al Sadd's home match will be on October 26, Wednesday, at the Al Sadd Stadium at 6pm.
so when is the next match....
Sadd's foreign player, Niang, scored twice in the game. But the second goal was scored when a player was down. That was the reason for the brawl.
didn't watched the match.. but what happened exactly during the match.. came to know they fight with each others!!
It's going to be fireworks when the South Korean team visits Qatar next week for the return leg. If Sadd wins the double leg semifinal, it'll be the first time a Qatari club has entered the finals of the new-look AFC Champions League. It would be a great achievement for Qatar football if that happens. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'll surely be there to see the game... It's a golden chance for Sadd to do what Umm Salal couldn't do two years ago, reach the final... All the best to them.
At the same time, I think the violence could've been avoided. But well, such things happen in football, I guess...
