Are all ISLAMIC banks closing their doors?

I got a call this morning from local AMANA (HSBC) bank, stated that they are shutting down all their services and hence asked me to come to their nearby branch to transfer the money and closedown the account.

As per their respresnetative, the islamic banks are closing their doors due to new QNB regulations. Bit confused, Any ideas?

Yes, they want the Islamic banking to be purely Islamic Banking.

The reason being that commercial banks will use money from their commercial account to fund Islamic banking and vice versa

yeah .. I read news few months back.

All commercial banks should close Islamic banking services

ONLY proper Islamic Masraf will do Islamic Banking
