Yes TB..I agree. I've had the same fears myself and its very sad that a tragedy had to occur before anyone in authority had to take the necessarily steps to prevent such calamities.I hope those injured recover fast and that the damage is not as colossal as it appears!
I am just amazed this is the only occurrence. I am so sorry for any loss of life, and I hope it was only one killed. Although looking at that mess I am worried that it may have been worse than reported. I have always looked at the demolition process here and wondered how they manage to get away without incident. It seems to me that it is undertaken with minimal safety. Not that I am an expert on demolition of course, I just haven't seen it done in this way before. May the departed RIP, and those injured have a speedy recovery. And lets just pray that this is the last.
We can just say RIP for that person who was dead, and take care for his family. but loss is for them and they have to face the problems. So atleast the concerned company should take care and do necessary action before these kind of process , so that people stay safe.
Funny how 3 days ago they announced achieving 10 million hours without Lost Time Incident.. I think the company that responsible for demolishing should have a good discipline action for the disaster they’ve caused
Well this buildings they were demolishing were bang along the road and they should have stopped the traffic along that road before going ahead with this part of the demolitions. Cars would have stopped along that road when the signals turned to red and there was no way to escape the falling debris and concrete for this vehicles caught up in this traffic
