Anybody tried applying for Tourist visa to Greece recently? How long usually the process take and how much? considering of going to Greece during the Eid holidays.

I also applied for Schengen visa for the first time and it took me only 2 working days (to Greece). Their document list says 1-week. Maybe I was lucky!!!
If you are applying for Schengen Visa for the first time, processing your visa might take 3-4 weeks but if you have applied previously and this is your second time, it might take less time 3-5 working days. If you want to travel during Eid Holiday, you must call the guys at the greek embassy at the earliest possible and ask about the processing time; meanwhile you have to start collecting the required documents as stated above by nishu2310.
Had been there for 7 days. Good place to visit. It takes 3 working days for a tourist visa. But you will have to arrange documents fast, if you need to go during eid.It is a Schengen Visa and it costs QR312 for adults, QR180 for children. Infants free. Documents -
- letter from your sponsor (which states your salary/position and guarantee that u will come back to Qatar)
- Salary statement 6 months
- Photographs (white background* 2)
- Airline ticket booking
- Hotel booking
- Health insurance of 30,000 euros for each
- Original passport ( you will have to submit)
- Passport pages copy ( all except blank ones)
