Hi All,

I live in New Delhi India and moving to Doha soon so just need to know in which format i should carry money initailly accomodation and transportaiton would be given by Employer so i just need to know how much money i should carry with me and in which format like travel card or any other medium which you know please suggest.

welcome to Qatar. you asked which is the best way to carry money? the best way keep the cash with you. that's better and for a month around 800 QR is enough for a single.

go to any exchange and convert indian rupees to qatari riyal. try to carry around 1000 riyal..that will be helpful for ur daily needs. do it juz before you could leave as the exchange rate is high now and you wont get more riyal in exchange to rupees.

Welcome in Doha,

You do not need more than 500 USD for your first month as the accommodation and transportation will be provided by the employer.

I recommend holding it cash.
