This use to be true when there was political problems between Jordan and Qatar, but now it's somehow ok. My husband is of Jordanian roots, but has lived all his life in Qatar. Born and raised here. There was a time he was being deported to Jordan (he's never been there) back about 5 years ago, when there was big problems between Qatar and Jordan. Now, he says it's fine.

Right now though they have blocked Syria, Lebanon, and most Egyptian visa requests. But not Jordan.

Salam

There are a good amount of Jordanians here in Qatar but thats because their skills are wanted. You can try AL JAZEERA, or QTEL they give jordanians visa's to get here if u work for them... and they pay good. Get a job there and then meet Qatari's. Qatari's are extremely nice people once they trust you. There is some hidden drama between Qatar and Jordan government that we dont know about but the relations are SLOWLY changing for the better. So my advice... try to get a job at al jazeera or QTEL and go out and meet some Qatari people and just be trustworthy because you can be deported in a second if you do something bad. (Same goes for any nationality not just jordanian)

Don't waste your time waiting for the laws to change cuz they won't.

As you laws are meant to stop illegal activities and after getting respective results relaxation in law is provided and sometime the law enforcement is lifted.

So, wait you will get relaxation when illegal people get caught or ran away..

It's getting harder for Arabs and Asians to get work visas in Qatar now. Try getting a western passport.

Hmm... then best of luck.. because as much as i know, its very difficult get a visa of Jordan, and the main problem is Palestine, because those people are coming on Jordan's Passport, and now the originals are suffering..
