should I go and see Coldplay?
do I go for a hotel with work colleagues or go to Abu Dhabi and see Coldplay?
Normally that would be an easy choice.. but going to the latter would mean going by myself and hoping to meet people.

Nope... me too chicken. But the hotel option with your mates should be good. Get plenty down yer neck and remember take a printout of Auld Lang Syne with you so you don't muter through the most of it like I have to every year. And you will be fine mate.
