Regarding Accomodation Need your Advise Badly

Hope that you could help me with my question. I am a hired engineer in a local company here in doha and living under company accommodation our room is just enough for four persons and to tell you frankly it is small but i dint mind because i cannot do anything about it.now my superior is relocating me in a porta cabin so that our room will be good for three person i was chosen because i was new. but i am a engineer and its degrading that i will be put in a porta cabin right. is there any rule or law in baladiya that details the proper room condition for a specific Position like an engineer in a company accomodation.hope to get your advise.

the best advice we could give is talk to your management. Whatever you see here either agreeing with you or not, it doesn't matter. What matter is what your management will do. So, talk to them and maybe, they are just waiting for you to approach them. MAybe they will give you a toilet and kitchen of your own? Or the best maybe they will give you a new villa of your own (in Abu Samra)? Joke!

hi han19, no its like seniority here the oher rooms has technician and data collector but they are inside the villa. i will be put outside the villa which is a porta cabin.take note there is no bathroom and kitchen i need to walk across the villa just to use the kitchen and bathroom.my point is they should give us a decent accommodation right.
Check your contract, and labour law regarding type of accommodation. Even porta cabins can be decent, just check it out first. If you are still not happy, approach your hr about it. Are the others in the room also engineers.
dude. being an engineer doesn't make you super human. if you think you should get the best of everything just because you are an engineer, then you are utterly wrong.
there is no such rule in the books which says 10 labors should be put in a room while an engineer will be given a 1 bhk ff apartment.
anyways, check your contract to see if there is any mention about the type of accommodation assigned to you.
