Taking the advance payment and not returning back

Dear All,
I purchased one car through Car Loan in the Bank, before the bank loan is approved he asked for advance payment that he is in urgent and want to send his wife to his native. I paid him 60% of the price; now he is telling he can’t pay do whatever you want. He is telling he has a good relation with Police, daily Police will come and sit in is shop. All Police is in my pocket. I don’t have any evidence.......please advice what to do.

Thanks for your advice, just I want to know how Qatar Police investigation is, can they understand English? Or I will write this entire story in English then translate it in Arabic and give them. What should I do? I have never been to Police Station before this is my First time to police station in my life that to in Qatar.

Easy man record your conversation in phone and make this as evidence and give complaint to police..
Every problem has having a solution.....
You did not get him to sign for it to say he had recieved the money,,, what country are you from,,,, not very smart i have to say,,, go to police,,,
I think this is a scam. better make a police report and see what happens and maybe your not the only victim. next time, make sure you dont do the same mistake again. always get a black and white. good luck....
What's Wrong with you to pay 60 percent of the total price without any proof of payment. He played you for a fool, and is still pushing you around.
You can sill make a police case and see where it gets you, at least you tried. Don't get bullied by his threats, usually who talk this way are little ......themselves.
you can do nothing...you don't have any evidence....just bye bye to your money
