joint salary for residence visa

The State has raised the salary bracket to 7000qrs per month (now we heard it is 10,000qrs) before anyone can get his or her family a residence visa.

If both the husband and wife are here in Qatar and want to have a joint salary so that they can place their children under residence visa, is this possible?

Second, how many days will it take to process all these documents?

I so badly need the answer because our children visit visa are expiring on January 12.

Before you think of their permanent visa or send your kids for exit (as their visa is near expiry and you are short of time), you can try to apply for another month extension. I had a six month visa before for my son. Unfortunately, i was not able to get a residence permit for him during that 6 months period. But I was allowed for another month extension. Try your luck to extend their visit visa, then at the same time proceed processing with their residence visa.

In your case the Sponsorship will be a joint one. There is nothing here like joint salary.
