I'm baffled to see the strong anti-drinking sentiment among some people. Is getting drunk on alcohol good? Not really.

Is eating unhealthy foods, smoking tobacco, talking on the phone or texting whilst driving, not wearing sunscreen, failing to maintain a disciplined cardiovascular and muscular exercise regime, or any other vice laudable?

We all pick and choose our own vices. Don't drink the haterade, my otherwise sober friends:)

"The Qatari government ordered a ban on alcohol sales in Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island near the capital, Doha, earlier this month."

i think they are only forbid selling alcohol in The Pearl, Qatar.

So your title for this thread should be:-

"I Think Qatar Might Ban Alcohol"

Not "Qatar Bans Alcohol" which implies that Qatar has banned alcohol.
