Hi.
I am working in a Company for 3 years. (My Contract Agreement is UNDEFINED). but i have decided to leave the company and given the resignation letter with 2 Month notice period. Now notice period also passed and ID also expired, But Company is refusing me to send me back to country.
Please advice me, What should i do now?, What is the action i can do from my side?
You can't refuse like that, your sponsor will loose about 10 Rials he spent for your recruitment. Work here for 3 years to get a real feeling.
Hi am working in Qatar for two weeks but now I am not happy with the job I want to go back ..medical is not yet done even the finger print .will the company allow me to go back plz suggest

Sorry for the late reply, But I could not stop my self from answering this!
My friend if you think that employers only pay money for a visa then you are mistaken
do you know how difficult it is to obtain work visas from the Labour department?
Do you know how much time does it take to process a visa?
DO you know how long does it take to find the right
candidate for your company with the budgets that were assigned?
if you think that its just a mere visa expense then you are mistaken! its way more than that!
I would have only agree with you if the company promises a certain package that you " agreed and signed before you arrive to the country" then it turned out that the package and the working conditions are different upon arrival; then cancelling your contract will be okay!
if the case is that the employee has arrived to the country and started searching for new jobs! then What would I do... I will complete the processing of His visa then cancel it, then ban this employee from coming back to the country for 2 Years...
but that is just me ;)
Regards, Mr. HR Manager ;)
Cyperdiver I can understand everlover35's plight. I was brought into this country as a professional and blantly lied to about my role.
I now find I work for an school whioch treat's its staff as little better than slaves and fines them (illegally) at the drop of a hat.
Perhaps if some companies were more honest in their dealings with staff then their staff would be more loyal.
Good luck everlover.
BY the way this is not a personal attack upon Cyperdiver just commenting on his/her posting.
and hope they allow you to go home. For sure, they will not allow you to transfer (KNOWINGLY) to another company. Even if you pay them for the expenses, you can not return all the "comfort" they have extended you in bringing you here. And honestly speaking, your case is a familiar case here, and not so many are lucky, if you consider 1 out 10 to be many! Lol!
I'm interested to know how this will turn out for you, and at the same time sad to hear your plight.
Can you share additional details to the group as to why you decided to throw down the towel so soon?
Hi! This is not fair with your company now unless they don't give you the agreed salary.
Just make sure your passport is with you.
unless ur visa is not printed on passport, u can easily change a sposor (NO NEED OF NOC). Many people do not know this procedure and stick with the job.
The only thing is that they may charge ur flight & visa exp. from ur settlement.
I slightly differ with Mr. HR Manager !
u can protect the employer's interest by penalizing the guy the money they spent for employing these people.
many unlucky guys land here with bad employer without fulfillig promises and unsuitable working environment which may compell them to leave.
so let them leave and search for something they they feel good.
hi
if your passport is not stamped with your RP, you are free to change without any fear, only thing is that you may loose your settlement payments, but you must get a job, with a company who have visa for you, you can always go out and come back with a new business visa provided by the new company.
please check out visa availability as Qatar is strict about visa for a few country nationals,
With Best Regards and thanks

Ahhhh... Cyberdiver has a point. Your RP has not been processed therefore you do not have a sponsor yet.
Therefore I think you have been working illegally here for the duration.
I am An HR Manager,
Since You Have not yet printed your visa, you have to leave the country and they new company will recruit you on a new visa (NO NOC Required).
But do not make finger print, since they can make a RP for you.
but what you are doing is a horrible thing since the company brought you from your country on their own expense and then you decided that you want to find another job (which is relatively easy here).
Well its none of my business, but good luck
NOC is worthless as you cannot change sponsor within one year.
No you can't change your sponsorship unless they will give you NOC
You can change once they agree and give you NOC
yes you can change your sponsor and yes you can change your company as there is no contract aggrement.
