family visa interview experiance..
Dear all
my family visa get rejected at first submittel and now i get a meeting with committee , what kind of questions i can expect there, and what kind of document i need to bring with me. is it necessary to bring the family also together
sub mitted document details are following
1.basic salary 8000
2.acc+tran. by company
3.prof.certificate+marri.cer+birth certi. attested here in foreign affairs
4.bank statment 6 months
5.contract copy+elect.bill of house
6. passport copy of all members
this all submitted in MOL(after change from MOI)

Basic salary is more than 10,000 Qatari Riyals to have family visa.
Yes even if you have enough salary, sometimes a tiny word from your bank statement can cause rejection. Like what happened to me, my company's middle east main office is in Dubai so the salary was always sent like a normal bank transfer. But the problem was, my bank statement shows Telegraphic Transfer since before, when I asked during interview why they rejected my application, they answered, they didn't find SALARY TRANSFER instead it's Telegraphic Transfer ONLY. In the end, I waited 6 more months as I asked our Finance Manager to change the reason for sending our salary. Anyway, it is just like only 4 months waiting as if you got rejected, you need to wait 2 months to re-apply again.
according to new law of qatar regarding family visa
1. your salary should be 10,000 riyals or above
before its was 8,000 riyals
2. bank statement 6 months
3.prof.certificate+marri.cer+birth certi. attested here in foreign affairs
4.bank statment 6 months
5.contract copy+elect.bill of house
6. passport copy of all members

I am into same situation. yesterday had an interview with Committe at Madina khalifa. Officials asked me about my salary, children, my company, whether i applied for family visa in MOL or not, six months bank statement and then after asking all this he asked me to leave. later i asked person sitting in reception he asked me to check after two days. Today i checked online it is showing Application postponed since it was showing Application rejected before meeting. Dont know what this means.
