Hi i am working in a private healthcare sector past 4 years.i have resigned my job according to the contract mentioned 1 month notice period, and i did the same.
the management responded after a long time suggesting me to go on long vaccation. actually i have a serious health problem with my youngr son and i gave all the details to the management.but still the management insists me to complete the contract till Dec 2012.
so i met the indian embassy and got aletter to releave me at the earliest, but the company said its dealing with the leagle person to solve??????????
then i met the labor they r not even listning to me.i dont know arabic the PRO is communicating in arabic and the officer was not kind to me and said go to the court,
i dont know what to do i gave a letter to the management that i cannot attend my work untill and unless it is solved.s kindly suggest me.

Thankyou

My opinion is that your company is holding you back since your name is included in their roster of employees who are qualified as such..e.g... doctor,nurse,dentist..etc.. so to get a replacement is difficult to them. Also check the details of your contract. since you've approached the labor dept. and advise to file a court case, then it will be a lengthly procedure. If your bothered about not getting your end of service benifits then go to labour court,if not take a long vacation as per their recommendation.

the employer has 15 days from the date he receives ur resignation (he must date and sign that he received ur resignation). within these 15 days, he can reject the resignation.

u only have to send a second resignation letter, this one "almost" effective immediately.
