BMX(bicycle) Riding

I am not sure if there is a BMX group here in Qatar. I usually go out in the evenings to the Cornish to try my BMX. If anyone is willing to join please do let me know. I am as well a beginner. So we can try it all together.

Is there a bmx group still active? I have a bmx and would want to give it a try to learn the bmx tricks. Is there like a special the group meets up and trains?

me and a friend of mine brought our mtb's on this track although it was restricted but there was no guards in sight so what the heck we tried the small pump track side it was good and nice planning later to try again

BMX race track coming on nicely at Aspire Park. Completion Nov 2013. It's quite challenging...lots of air to be had and good pump/manual sections.....not for the faint hearted.

So get purchasing those bikes and gear there is going to be some fun! G

Good information about BMX, in any games these type of games are added and people like this very much. For the game there are many type of people take part with their bikes, they are all trained by the trainer. These type of game are popular due to the bikes and the stunts at the time of racing.

Ok. A track was built in 2012 in Ireland for QAR 200k utilising 1 skilled earthmoving plant operator and a set of plans from a track in Manchester and a lot of local support (10- 30+ individuals on voluntary manual labour). however, for an all bells and whistles track (like the one in the image) you could probably expect to fund QAR 500k - QAR 900k. In terms of what a community gain from this it really is great value. The most expensive items are the perimeter fencing, electronic start gate, lighting and bitumen asphalt. A lot of materials were obtained from local donations etc. imagine being behind Qatars first official bmx race event!!...hmmmm. What is Aspire planning?

I am an Old School BMXer (80's) and arrived in Qatar with my kids with our Intense XL Pro, Redline MX, Wethepeople Arcade and Crisis and are looking for skate parks and a future BMX race track. With the best winter weather for the sport and the will to build indoor and outdoor bmx tracks I believe it's just a matter of time for Qatar. The only thing required is a location of preferably marginally sloping land and a group of enthusiasts with a little fund raising. Is Aspire Zone future developments may be planning something? I can access the blueprints, designs and Pro advisers and all important constructors if need be. GET ON IT!

Bmx racing has just got going again in Ireland after 25 years. After six months the only club in Ireland had 450 members making it the largest cycling club in Ireland. Volunteers built Ireland's first international standard track for €40k. This set a standard an an example of what can be done for the community and the local authorities. We believe there is possibility to justify up to 80 tracks as it appeals to 2 year olds to 50+. We had Ireland's first strider race last weekend ( balance bikes) for 2year olds. Check out Ratoath BMX on Facebook. Anyhow this sport provides countries the real opportunity for too be Olympians in one of the most accessible sports for all ages. I believe this sport instills a discipline in the young and provides a healthy competitive spirit to all involved from communities, parents, volunteers and riders alike. Would Qatar be able to create a permanent indoor track to international standards and host international events? Very excitingthought indeed!

oh, by the way I was just informed by some of my bmx friends here in qatar that bmx/skate/bike park construction are now on going. that will be a great opportunity for us... so by now we only need to ride bmx and practice so that when the tym the park is finished we ready to use it. Its better to start this tym to ahead of others who will be riding bmx when the park is done...

Bmx in skate shock are just fine to start your bmx career, bikes there are just fine and if ever you want to upgrade your bike later,we can buy in the philippines through some friends who are going home to the philippines for a vacation. the important this time is you can start playing bmx and have fun.

interested but qatar doesnt have genuine bmx bikes that are strong ...d one on salwa road sucks with fake bmx !!!
