Family Visa
I had applied for my wife's visa at the MOI office. i was given a receipt which asked me to check online after 3 days, but the lady at the counter said check after a week.
The lady accepted all the documents without any issues, im assuming there is no problem in the documentation.
Its been more than 10 days and i have not received any info, the portal says "Application under process".
I visited the MOI office again today and they said, "check online after a few hours "MAY BE" it will update the status" as she could not find my application.
Has any one faced such a situation earlier, as to how much time does it generally take to hear something from the MOI after we submit the application?
FINALLY, got my wife's visa.
It took me exactly 15 days from applying for the visa to receiving the visa.
Though the sms from metrash said i could print the visa online from the website, I could not do so, as the website didnt allow me to do so.
So I had to personally visit the MOI office Gate 4 ground floor and wait for almost 2 hours to finally get a print copy of the visa.
lazy staff.....have u heard of "Wasta" it is the only way to find a solution...all the best
