Please note that on visit visa, there is no required salary range, requirement or bracket, but if you want her to stay with you as resident (residence visa), then the salary required is 10K and it is a long process. If she will stay at least 2 months then better apply for visit visa and renew it...

I had my son came here. Better get him a FAMILY VISIT VISA not just a visit visa. I am not sure this 2012 if the salary required is already QR10k but before it used to be QR7,500.

The requirements are as follows:

1) Birth certificate (if you are a Filipino - authenticated by the DFA in the Philippines, the Phil Embassy here in Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Qatar)

2) Passport copy of your daughter

3) Your Qatar ID orig and copy

4) Your passport copy

5) If your daughter is 18 yrs or above - police clearance (if you are a Filipino, NBI for travel to Qatar, authenticated by the DFA in the Phils, Phil Embassy Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Qatar)

6) Original Salary Certificate of the sponsor (you)

Process:

Either your company PRO will do it for you then he will give you the form and process it. But if you are going to be the one to process it. I suggest you try the Wakra Immigration - they are very nice there and your application will be processed much faster and earlier.

For Filipinos: make sure you have the

1)birth certificate and NBI red ribboned/authenticated in the Phils DFA.

2)then bring them to Phil Embassy here in Qatar for stamping (QR100 each fee).

3)Then bring to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in C-Ring Road (QR20 fee)

4)When you have all the documents (original and photocopies)go to the translator in the immigration and sign the form - the person typing will assist you when you tell him you need form for FAMILY VISIT VISA.

5)Go to the immigration office and get a number for filing

6)Pay the visa fee

7)Verify in the internet the visa release - it can be released as early as in the afternoon of your filing.

8)Download the visa copy

For Filipinos after release of visa:

1) Affidavit of Support - from Phil Embassy Qatar (after release of visa)

2) Send the visa copy (in English) and affidavit of support by email to your daughter

3) Let her prepare the following for submission to the Qatar Embassy in the Phils. a) 2 2X2 photo with white background b) original passport with a photocopy c) copy of birth certificate d) copy of visa

4) Go to DHL and pay P2,550 for the processing and sending of docs to Qatar Embassy in Manila. DHL will inform you when it will be delivered back to you.

5)Calculate at least 10days AFTER sending the docs by DHL to Qatar Embassy for flight booking. Release of docs will take from 5-7 days.

6)NOTE: HAVE A RED RIBBONED BIRTH CERTIFICATE READY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER to present to the NAIA counter amd immigration and set of COPIES of your Qatar ID, OEC (as much as possible original), passport and affidavit of support.

7) Brief your daughter clearly on how to answer the immigration people to avoid problems

8) If she does not have your original OEC then she may pay the travel tax and terminal fee which is more or less P2,500.

Hope this helped. :)

Hi there..1 (muzta po)

Recently I got visit visa for my daughter and she's will be coming anytime next month. Here is response to your query and I hope it will help.

What you need to prepare:

•Approval letter from your company immigration with regards to sponsoring visit visa.

•Copy of your passport

•Copy of the passport of the one you're about to visit

Salary Statement in English for Embassy purposes

Steps on how to process your application:

•Go to Immigration Department in Gharafa

•Go to the Typing Section and state that you would like to visit someone (present to him the letter from your company immigration, copy of your passport & copy of the passport of the one you're about to visit) pay him 10Qrs.

•Go to Building 4 for the processing and issuance of visa.

•If you will visit someone in direct connection with you (i.e. father, mother, brother, sister, wife, son, daughter) they will issue directly the visa from building 4. But if you will visit someone which is not in direct connection with you (i.e. Auntie, Uncle, Cousin, Friend) you will need approval from the Director from Building 1, 1st floor.

• The timings in the Immigration Department is from 6:30am - 1:00pm & 3:00pm - 7:00pm; For the visa you need to pay 200Qrs. and check the availability of the Visa thru www.moi.gov.qa/site/... after 3hours of issuance of receipt.

For Filipino Citizens:

You need to prepare Affidavit of Support that you can get from the Philippine Embassy Doha. You just have to present to them your salary statement, copy of visa (once approved check and print it from moi website), copy of your passport & the one that you're about to visit, this will take you 1day for the processing of Affidavit of Support. This Affidavit of Support will be presented by the one you're about to visit in the Immigration Section at the NAIA.

What does the one that you're about to visit need to do?

•He/She needs to send to Qatar Embassy to the Philippines thru DHL these things:

•Original Passport,

•2pcs. 2x2 ID picture with white background,

•Printed visa copy and wait for 5 working days till they send you back your passport with visa sticker.

Coming to Doha:

She needs to bring Her Passport, Affidavit of Support, Copy of the sponsor passport, & ticket. (Kung magtatravel siya kasama ka from Philippines, much better)
