what to do to get resident visa?

We have been applying for resident visa twice with all the required documents.As last time, we didn't receive any informations so we went and checked there .They gave us a receipt and asked us to check after 3 days and after 3 days again no change.
Is there any one who received resident visa in last 1 month and what is to be done for that?

usually they reply on the net. if you do not find any reply denial or acceptance refer back to them by visiting them. You need to have lot of patience coz sometimes it does take lot of time. All the best!!
