VISA RELEASE / NOC
By Jojo Mathews •
Hi All,
I am working in a company last 3 years and locally recruited. I have changed my Residents permit / Visa to the company one and half year before, now i am having a better offer from other company so can i get a release / NOC from my present sponsor? Since i have changed my residents permit / visa to the company hence i am right to ask my release back?
is there any law in Qatar stating that the Release / NOC has to be given to the people who has recruited / changed his visa to the company locally?
Please advise.
Even if you changed your visa locally from another sponsor doesn't matter. You have to obtain a no objection letter from your present employer and then can approach immigration Dept. for further proceedings. Once your release approved by the immigration Dept.and stamped in your passport then you can start working with your new employer without any problem! Best of luck!
NOC is really required in shifting to another company or epmloyer. if you do not have this, you won't get another working visa unless you wait the 2-year ban. Remember that NOC is an employers' discretion to issue. You can not force them to give you that piece of paper even if you hired locally or abroad.. Better ask your employer to give you NOC.
You must have an NOC even if you are locally hired.
Yes, you just go and joint the new company with good offer, and don't forget to inform your old company that, you have joined a new one, very very simple
