What is a Work permit here? Is it same as RP ? How the company will get it for us ? Thank you.

Since you are under husband sponsorship, you must register to the labor department as a working spouse. You are not entitled for any benefits from your company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Please make sure that you are registered as a working spouse to avoid any problems.

since you are under your husband's sponsorship, you are not eligible for any allowances, such as housing, transportation, airticket, etc., and it doesn't matter whether you work full or part time.

On the other note, make sure your company got a Work permit for you. Otherwise, once Labour Department comes to check your office both your company and yourself will be in troubles.

Part time? One year? Please clarify if you are under the sponsorship of your employer. Any work done outside of your sponsor is illegal in Qatar whether free or paid. A consent from your sponsor must be submitted to the labor department and you will be given a paper called "iyara" (not sure of my spelling) granting you to work temporarily for another company.
