Good Afternoon,

I have recently moved to Qatar from Dubai and got my RP here, unfortunately my car (just 5 years old) were not able to register here due to the vehicle age restriction law (5 years+).

And I want to know if I drive it to Qatar under Dubai plate. What is the requirement and documentation needed? Also what is the maximum duration allowed to stay without exiting??

May be the restriction is only for "Imported Car Aged more than 5 year"

Good Lord, 5 year old car, not allowed to register in Qatar. WHY?

There are some really old ones on the street and I am thinking out loud "How did they pass the Technical Test?"
