Traffic Police

I was at Karwa the other day for my licence test in order to get my light vehicle licence. Normally as per procedure, it started with signal signs.

many candidates failed since they said or identified the signal signs as given in the handbook given by Karwa authorities themselves.

Now the candidates arent sure if the handbook is wrong or the police guy was wrong.

Moreover the candidates are not supposed to speak let alone try to explain to the officer in charge that we answered as per the manual given.

Why are the traffic police/ authorities here so unapproachable and unfriendly? why do they keep us suppressed - is it because we are expats??

I feel its high time that expats be treated with some respect and the authorities show some care & concern to the above said community as firstly we are all like guests here and we need their help & support. Also we contribute to their economy leaving our homeland and relatives behind.

I failed 6 times during my test (sucseeded in 7th attempt.) cop told me to go back to the end of queue every time I failed and try again, BTW i pass my DL test in one day (6 failures for signal test and all pass in Reverse, L, S and road test (all in 1st attempt in the same day)

Qatar Cops are superb :)

for TB's sake even if the candidate is not sure abt learning the signs it is still the COPS fault
