Well I'm not aware of how great the Dubai place is; but in Qatar, you can't get much better than the three following options:
1) Afghan Brothers (Al-Rayyan and Freej Bin Nasser Street)
2) Dehleez which is on the right side immediately after the Sword traffic signals going towards the Crazy signals.
3) Al Jabri Restaurant which is bang on Sana Roundabout, and on your right side coming from Crazy Signal to Sana Roundabout.
I'm sure there's other hidden gems in Qatar but it's always a journey of discovery isn't it?..best of luck:-)
there is one in wakrah who makes Good mandi and bukhari and its name is AFGHAN BROTHERS.
There is no restaurant in Doha or near by that comes closer to the yemeni style mandi served Bait al-mandi, Dubai. However, Afghan Bros. restaurant in Al Rayyan serves pretty good mandi with Chicken/Arabic Meat. Their Majboos rice & bukhari is equally good. All other restaurants serve pretty mediocre.
yeah but i suppose u never tried it there...
u cant just go eat Mandi or Bukhari anywhere it differs allot!
I know one Turkey restaurant at Old Airport who used to advertise Bukhari.
