what is the procedure in purchasing a book through amzon.com, when i opened the site it is indicating many different prices for the same book .........so any one can explain me ?

Amazon has its own inventory and they also allow other stores to sell their products at the same time that is why you see different price for the same book.
Some amazon stores mention the shipping price in small fonts separately which when calculated is equal or a little more than amazon inventory price.
Get the book from the cheapest store with good feedback and make sure you compare the price with other items before checking out to see if they charge more for shipping.
because amazon.com is just like a middle man,so the books are not for the site,they are for ppl like me and you who want to sell there book.
btw, i also sell books,if you were interested,i have the cheapest prices (cheaper than amazon)
