Good Morning,

Today I will mention some words commonly used in schools:

Words
Madrasa = School
Modarres / Moallem / Ostaz = Teacher
Taleb = Student
Telmeez = Pupil
Maktaba = Library
Makhbar / Mukhtabar = Laboratory

Quiz
1- How can we say “The school’s laboratory is big” in Arabic? – plz use English letters –
2- What is the English Translation of “Kam Taleb fe saffak?”

Have a nice day :)

My professor at uni goes to Al Fanar to learn Arabic. It's free as far as I know and it's pretty good. They give lessons, text books, tests, etc..

Isn't "saffak" colloquial Arabic though? "saffik" is the Standard Arabic form.

Not much of a difference, I know! =P But still, this one short vowel does matters.
