I would like to know the experience of those who have tried fish pedicure. They say that if its the genuine Dr. Fish then you have a tickling sensation as these fish dont have teeth and suck up all the dead skin.
Well its sad to know that it got banned in U.A.E. I have heard about it tickling for some time and then relaxing but uncomfortable. Guess they didn't get the original Dr. Fish treatment as I have heard they only suck the dead skin.
There have been concerns but no one has been able to prove anything till now to my knowledge. Also the problem is there are a lot of cheap imitations mushrooming i.e.they use cheaper fish called chin chin instead of Garra Rufa fish.
As far as I have heard its far better and more natural than normal pedicures.
It's tickles...and a lot of people find it uncomfortable. As far as I know, they've banned it in the UAE now for health and safety reasons, so don't expect to see it in Qatar anytime soon.

Dr. fish got scared and went back to the caves?
I did it once and decided to stand belly button deep in the pool to see what would happen. Guess where Dr fish headed first. Never again.
I feel sorry for the fish.
i giggled like a little girl when i went, was good though. but as with most things here unsure about having it done in doha.
Ban the fish, gift of the nature because bad for health and safety unlike smoke. smoke is better....
Enjoy..
in U.A.E in Jumeirah wildwadi. Atleast its there on the site.
Cloud Nine has it.
Mandi

Most of them who go for a fish pedicure have known to be initially saying what you say but once they do it they really enjoy it :-0

Sounds interesting, but I won't take a chance...
no doubt if you want to lay face down in the tank for 30 minutes they will suck dead skin off your face or the skin off your dead face.
Tried it once. It works. Bit strange though. Some countries are trying to ban it though for health reasons.
Better to have a proper pedicure instead..
