Schooling a non-English speaking kid

Hi all,
I am new in Doha with my family. I have a 5year old son who should be going to a kindergarten but the problem is he speaks little English. I heard that most intl schools admit only English speaking kids. Is that true? I want him to learn English and go to an intl school (we dont have a community school in Qatar anyway) . That being the case, what are my alternatives (except Cedars as i read a lot of negative comments about them here).
Thanks a lot !

Private tutor is probably an option if you can't find anything.

Good luck

Getting a tutor is another option. He will receive a lot of personal attention and a lot of individual practices which will help him build some vocabulary and background knowledge. I can be of help as I have years of experience working with ESL – English as Second Language students and struggling readers( Dyslexia LD students ). Let me know if you are interested.
