I was there last last year. simple way is to take north road and exit at the "Al Ghariya Beach Resort Exit"

1. North East of Qatar

2. Take the north road highway and after al-khor continue as if u r going to "al-rowais" and u will find a sign on the road where u have to take right (aprox. 80 KM from Doha)

Get the Marhaba book, you will finds maps and coordinates there to get to all the beaches. They also tell you if you can go there with a small car.
