By Imelda Pardede •
Dear all,
I am currently gathering information on potential school to send my 5yo daughter to in Wakra area, particularly English Modern School Wakra campus. Is there any of you sending your children to that school? I would appreciate if you could share the pro's and con's of this particular school to me.
Thank you.
Can someone call me on 77240416 for this EMS wakrah branch?
Hi any comment for wakrah branch for now a days
Im also interviewing, markmodry, hopefully you will be in the new branch in Al Khor, that is where I have been offered a spot. Let me know how it goes! It would be nice to know someone before we arrive!
Hello, I'm in the interview process for a teaching position at EMS. Would you mind communicating by email so I could ask some more questions? I'm an American with many years of teaching experience in mid east and europe.
Thanks
Mark
yr right mimi wakra has been developing very fast and lot of traffic as well due to ezdan and new wakra hospital and heard that rents also increasing in wakra and reg appreciation yr right we need to appreciate them for there hard work and very low pay scale for teachers
Manyt hanks for the kind information for this school. I will also try to move my children in this school. Can someone help me for the curricula? what medium of language is being follwed for islamic studies and qatar history? I am sure the basic arabic is being taught to non arabic students. Your kind help will give me ample guidance . Regards.
Hi Patti,
Welcome to Qatar and thank you for your teaching our children, teachers never get the praise and appreciation as much as they deserve. I hope you will be happy here, I live in Wakra and plan on bringing my 2 boys here so I like that Wakra is developing, and having school system taught in English Modern ways, so that I do not have to have them all the way in Doha.
Salam
I was just hired to teach at the EMS Wakra in the KG2 class. So far it seems like it will be a good experience for me and for the children. I have taught PreK in the US and have been teaching for over 20 years.
As far as the campus and everything it seems like a good place for the children.
This will be the second year it has been open and we have up to year 7 students. I know that we are getting a lot of young children because they are planning to open another KG2 and KG1 class.
I can help with only so much information because I have only been here a week but I love the people who are at the school to teach.
It's a new school. The main one is located opp the american embassy. Hopefully it's good since it's expanding
im also in process of gathering information of any possible school in wakra. what i know about this school, its a really new school. and its for KG1, KG2 and Year 1 only.
