Transfer of Job to Qatar or UAE

I would like to ask for advise on my job transfer

I am currently working with a company in Doha. My project in Doha is about to be over and I recently received a job offer from another reputed company in Doha, I might get NOC from the current employer. But simultaneously I have also received an offer from my current company to join its branch in UAE. The salaries both are offering are almost same. The confusion is whether to take the offer of the new company in Doha or my current company in UAE
Please express your opinion on this

Brother if u r posted in Sharjah, then u r in heaven. Rent in Sharjah is 1/3 of Qatar and half of Dubai. U can get 2BHK for 2100 or 2200 Dirham only. There is no difference in both the cities (Twin city). Only a road divides the both cities and skyscrapers are on both sides. If I get a job of same position and pay, certainly I will move with out giving a 2nd thought.

Sunshine even if ur in Sharjah its ok bcos Dubai's not very far so in terms of Social life its a better option. Life on the whole is much better out there .. Doha's good but Dubai's a lot better !!!

The main dilemma is : I like my current Company, but I like to stay in Doha also, but the current company does not have any new job here

Interms of saving Dubai is a better option. Air tickets to any destination is 15-20% cheaper and so other stuffs. 100s of mall are there, a lot of parks, recreation centres. The only thing which is expensive is Petrol. Its double the price here.

Then sunshine i think UAE will be better for you , good lifestyle, neatly maintained flats n many more, moreover you said that you are comfortable with your current employer. Then why are you hesitating?

If you are tired of Qatar , then UAE is a good option.

1. The offer is almost same including all facilities (family status, housing etc.)

2. I like working with my current employer, but I also do not want to leave Doha. I do not know how the new Company in Doha will be

3. I have not been to UAE, so I do not know how it is there except for reading in the various forums

you know about your company

But you are not really know about your new company

Sticking a same company for a long time will gain and long service award and gain additional in future

I think you need to figure this out yourself.

1) is the new offer in Doha better then the offer you currently have?

2) Do you like working with your current employer and would like to continue working for the same employer in a different country?

3) have you been to UAE? do you like it better then Doha? Does Doha fulfill your entertainment and life needs? or is Dubai a better place to over all live for you?

4) Cost of living in Dubai is much less then Doha. You might end up saving more their.

Personally, I love Doha...I've been here to long to move anywhere else. But maybe if I was in your position I would have moved..or maybe taken another job offer in Doha with a better salary....You decide this for yourself!!
