How long does it take for one to get his/her RP/ ID (pataka) after landing in qatar on a work visa?

I am slated to land in doha next week and would like to know the processing time of the RP once we have landed and reported to immigration.Also I would really appreciate if someone would give me a ball park indication for the rent on a 1 BHK apartment unfurnished/semi-furnished.

It mainly depends on the relationship your PRO has with the Immigration personnel, & the level of motivation of all concerned
