u r eligible for at least 1.28xlast salary

1 year and 10 month = 21 days + 21x10/12 = 38.5 days so

salary/30 x 38.5

Qatar labour law (Article 54) says ...the emploer shall pay the end of service gratuity to the worker who has completed employment of one year or more.

based from that law, you can receive an end of service gratuity after you completed your employment or contract. since you resign to your company without finishing your contract, company has the right to give or not to give your gratuity pay because LABOR LAW states that you should finish your contract so that you are entitled to the end of service gratuity.

END OF SERVICE means finishing the stated contract to the company, either 1 year, 2 years or 3 years...

Qatar labour law (Article 54) says ...the emploer shall pay the end of service gratuity to the worker who has completed employment of one year or more"

As per the law the EOS is 21 days of basic salary per year, but again some companies also revise it to 30 days per year on basic salary.

So if you have completed 1 year and 10 months...then u r entitled for a gratuity of 01 year and 10 months...so on

hope this helps

PS: Onlinerz, please do not answer if you are not sure of the answer yourself...these are serious matters and when someone asks genuine questions,,,he deserves a genuine answer,

Peace!

No my friend please forget the above answer of onliner.

As per Qatar Labor law if one who serve 1 or more than a year are entitle to receive (21 days per year) end of service gratuity on the basis of your basic salary.

If your employee refuse to give your grautity you can contact labor court with the necessary reference copies.

As per Labour Law it should be mentioned in your Employment Contract. Don't you have a contract?
